Man Sold 20 Bricks Of Heroin To Undercover Detective In Paramus: Prosecutor
Allen Q. Young Jr. was involved in the distribution of heroin in Bergen County, authorities said.

PARAMUS, N.J. — Authorities arrested a Paterson man Monday involved in the distribution of heroin in Bergen County, said Gurbir S. Grewal, the county's acting prosecutor.
Allen Q. Young Jr., 21, was arrested after an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office and the Paramus Police Department, Grewal said.
Authorities determined that Young was involved in the distribution of heroin in Bergen County, Grewal said.

On Monday, Young allegedly distributed 20 bricks of heroin to an undercover detective in Paramus, the prosecutor said. Detectives from the Paramus Police Department and the prosecutor's office arrested Young, Grewal said.
Young was charged was charged with distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, namely heroin, in a quantity greater than one-half ounce, but less than five ounces, Grewal said.

Superior Court Judge Louis J. Dinice set Young's bail at $50,000 with no 10 percent option, the prosecutor said. Young was remanded to the Bergen County Jail in lieu of bail.
