Mayor and Council to Vote on Public Works Shuffle at Public Meeting

The Paramus Mayor and Council meet Tuesday night for a public meeting.

The agenda for the evening includes a final vote on an ordinance that would reduce the number of divisions in the Department of Public Works to four.

The ordinance would merge the mechanical and fleet maintenance divisions, as well as the road and sewer divisions. The other two divisions would be sanitation/recycling and buildings and grounds/traffic maintenance.

The Mayor and Council meet at 7:45 p.m. in Borough Hall.
