The all-volunteer-run Depot Craft and Gift Shop in Midland Park is hosting an Open House on Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
- Author Patricia Cardello will be there from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. signing copies of her book, “The Magical Tale of Easter Bunny Dust -- An Easter Bunny Tradition.”
- Every customer will receive a “Lucky” egg that contains a mystery coupon.

The Open House launches the 50th anniversary year of The Depot, which was formed by a group of volunteers in the Ridgewood Train Station in 1965 to support Family Counseling Service of Ridgewood (later Children’s Aid and Family Services). The Depot continues to be entirely staffed by volunteers today, and its mission also includes supporting the crafters and artisans whose merchandise fills the store.
