
The Ridgewood Avenue Shopping Center at 67 E. Ridgewood Ave. is getting a new look.
Its owners are changing the entire facade, said property manager Jenny Gurland, whose family has owned the center since the early 1960s.
The center hasn't been updated in a long time, Gurland said. The changes include repairs to the roof and new signs for each tenant.

"They're going to have neon lights so it can be seen from the street," Gurland said.
will have new columns outside, Gurland said. The entire parking lot is being repaved and restriped.

Gurland expects the new look of the center to draw in more traffic.
"I think it was really time to spruce it up a little," she said.
She wouldn't give an exact date, but Gurland said the contractor was working quickly to complete the job.
The Ridgewood Shopping Center has 13 tenants, including the , and .
