PA Man Pleads Guilty To Burglarizing Paramus Electronics Stores
Eliezer Medina, 37, admitted he stole $625,000, authorities announce.

A man admitted to stealing approximately $625,000 from electronics stores in Paramus and South Jersey, authorities announced.
Eliezer Medina, 37, pleaded guilty in Trenton federal court to conspiracy to transport stolen goods in interstate commerce, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced. Medina is from Lancaster County, Pa.
Medina admitted he stole approximately $625,000 from three stores in Paramus and Pennsuaken, a suburb of Philadelphia, Fishaman said. He conspired with his brother, Jose, 38, to steal money from stores in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and elsewhere from November 2013 through August 2014.

Medina surveyed the locations before committing the burglaries, disabled the stores’ alarm systems, and used pry-bars to open the stores’ safes, authorities announced.
Medina faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. He must also pay $625,000 in restitution. Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 22.
