Paramus Applebee's Hosting Fundraiser For Bus Crash Victims
All proceeds from the flapjack breakfast Saturday will be given to the victims of the East Brook Middle School bus crash.

PARAMUS, NJ — Applebee's on Route 17 will host a special breakfast fundraiser Saturday for the victims of the East Brook Middle School bus crash.
All proceeds from the breakfast will be donated to the victims of the crash.
The breakfast is from 8 to 10 a.m. The $10 meal includes: Flapjacks, sausage, scrambled eggs, and a beverage, either coffee, tea, juice, or soda.

Tickets can be purchased at the restaurant the morning of the breakfast. For more information, call the restaurant at 201-447-8813.
Forty-five students, teachers, and adults from East Brook Middle School were on board the bus, which was traveling to a school field trip at Waterloo Village in Byram Township, on May 17, the day of the crash. In addition to the deaths of 10-year-old Miranda Vargas and teacher Jennifer Williamson Kennedy, there were 43 injuries.

The bus driver, Hudy Muldrow Sr., 77, was charged with two counts of death by auto, commonly referred to as vehicular manslaughter.
