Paramus Investigation Leads To Sexual Assault, Child Endangerment Charges For Paterson Man: Prosecutor
Barrington C. Hibbert, 36, was being held on $250,000 bail, authorities said.

PARAMUS, N.J. — A Paterson man has been charged with aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child after an investigation in Paramus, authorities announced Wednesday.
The Paramus Police Department received a report last Thursday that Barrington C. Hibbert, 36, had touched a girl inappropriately, said Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal in a news release.
Hibbert was arrested the next day after Paramus police and detectives from the prosecutor's Special Victims Unit conducted an investigation, Grewal said.

Hibbert was taken to the Bergen County Jail where he was held in lieu of $250,000 bail. He was ordered to have no contact with the girl or her family if released on bail.
