PARAMUS, NJ – A 49-year-old Paramus man faces charges after authorities say he sent threatening letters to residents in Paramus, Hackensack and West Milford, saying he’d injure or kill them and their families.
Stanley Lenkiewicz was arrested Friday following an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, along with officers from Hackensack Police Department and the United States Postal Inspection Service, Prosecutor Mark Musella said in a press release.
Authorities launched their investigation on July 24, after Paramus Police Department received reports from several people in the three towns saying they’d received letters, Musella said.
