Paramus Youngsters Named 'Police Chief for a Day'
Alexander Guerriero spent last Friday as the Paramus Police 'Chief For a Day' while Paramus' Thomas Caruso, Jr. was the 'chief' in Teaneck.
Eight-year old Alexander Guerriero had the honor of serving as Paramus Police Chief for a Day last week.
Guerriero, a second grade student at Paramus' Midland Elementary School, got his very own uniform and spent the day with Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg. The day included a trip to the Bergen County Courthouse where the youngster was officially sworn in as 'chief for the day.'
He was joined by other youngsters from neighboring towns who also serve as chief.

Another Paramus youngster also served as police chief of the Teaneck Police Department.
a West Brook Middle School student was joined by his father Police Officer Thomas Caruso at the Bergen County Courthouse where he was sworn in as "Chief for a Day" of the Teaneck Police Department. Caruso, 13, is currently undergoing treatment for osteosarcoma of his left femur.
