Paramus Police Officers Traveling To Dallas, Will Attend Murdered Officers' Funerals
PBA Local 136 will donate $10,000 to the families of the murdered officers.

PARAMUS, N.J. — The police union will donate $10,000 to the families of the five officers killed in Dallas Thursday.
The officers will leave for Texas today to represent the department and the borough in Dallas, the Paramus Policemen's Benevolent Association Local 186 posted on the union's Facebook page.
The six officers will attend the officers' funerals over the next four days, who, the union said, "were murdered in cold blood while protecting the rights and ensuring the safety of individual protesting in their city."

The officers, Brent Thompson, Lorne Ahrens, Patrick Zamarripa, Michael J. Smith, and Michael Krol were shot and killed by Micah Johnson, a former Army reservist.
In addition to the five officers who died, seven officers and two civilians were wounded.
