Paramus Police Report Several Homes Burglarized

PARAMUS, NJ — Several borough homes have been burglarized in the past week, police said.

Police are urging residents to be vigilant and on the lookout for any suspicious people or vehicles. They have no description of any potential suspects.

Authorities are asking residents to keep their lights on, lock their doors, and make their homes look occupied when not home. Burglars "usually don't like confrontations," police said.

Police urge residents not to store keep valuables in their master bedrooms and not let mail pile up outside their homes while away on vacation.

Any suspicious vehicles or people should be reported to the police immediately by calling 9-1-1 or 201-262-3400.
