Paramus Police Warn Of Pickpocket Crew
Authorities said people have been stealing from women's purses in supermarkets.
PARAMUS, N.J. — Police are warning women to watch their purses as several have been pickpocketed recently, authorities said.
Most of the incidents have occurred in supermarkets, authorities said.
Police said residents should take the following steps to help avoid becoming victims:

- Don't leave a purse in a cart while shopping.
- Don't hang a purse on the back of a chair at a restaurant.
- Use purses that have zipper or a latching flat and carry it with the zipper or flap facing you.
