Paramus Woman Struck And Killed In Oradell Crash: Report

Judith James, 64, was walking on Kinderkamack Road at about 10:35 p.m. when a Nissan Xterra hit her, police said in a report.

PARAMUS, N.J. — A borough woman was struck and killed by a car Monday night in front of the Oradell firehouse, police said in a report.

Judith James, 64, was walking west on Kinderkamack Road at about 10:35 p.m. when a Nissan Xterra hit her, Capt. William Wicker told NorthJersey.com. The Nissan was heading southbound on Kinderkamack Road, according to the report.

Police said the driver of the Nissan was Debra McKenna, 47, of Emerson, the report stated. Authorities are investigating the crash and no charges have been filed, according to the report.

Wicker could not be reached for comment and the Oradell police department did not immediately respond to a request for information from Patch Tuesday afternoon.
