Planning Board to Hear Plan to Demolish Historic House
The Planning Board meets at 7 p.m.

An application to tear down the historic Zabriskie Tenant House will come before the Planning Board again at its Thursday meeting.
The last time the application was heard in February, architect Peter Wells testified that the house was no longer worth saving. He said the building had fallen into disrepair over its long existence, and that various changes had removed its historic value.
Quattro 4 LLC plans to divide the lot on which the house sits, destroying it in the process. On Thursday opponents of the plan are set to make their case for saving the house.
