Public Works Shuffle On Mayor and Council Agenda
Mayor and Council to meet at 7:45 p.m.

The Mayor and Council meet for a public meeting Tuesday, and their agenda includes a vote on an ordinance that would pare down the Department of Public works to four divisions.
The mechanical and fleet maintenance divisions, as well as the road and sewer divisions, would merge under the ordinance, and in addition to the sanitation/recycling and buildings and grounds/traffic maintenance divisions, would comprise a four-division department. The foreman of the sewer division was demoted to facilitate the change, Borough Administrator Joseph D'Arco said.
The agenda also includes a vote to amend the 2011 budget by adding a line showing how much of the tax bill goes to the . The Borough is required to do so by a law enacted at the end of March.
