Rash Of Vehicle Burglaries Prompts Warning From Police

A rash of vehicle burglaries throughout Bergen County have prompted warnings from several local police departments.

Authorities are warning residents to lock their vehicles and keep valuable items, including cell phones, GPS units, iPads, wallets, and purses out of sight.

Break-ins have been reported at public parks, health clubs, athletic fields, and gyms.

Residents should report anything suspicious to their local police department.
