Residents Help Identify Man Charged With Paramus Burglary
Police found Oliver Blanco, 27, a few minute after he allegedly broke into a Ross Road home.

PARAMUS, N.J. — Police charged a man with burglary after residents saw him running from a Ross Road road home Thursday, police Chief Kenneth R. Ehrenberg. The man may be tied to several other home burglaries in the borough in the last two weeks.
Police responded to the home on a report of a burglary at 12:19 p.m., Ehrenberg said. Police found a window in the back of the home was broken and discovered that the burglar had cut himself on the window.
Two residents flagged down police and said they saw a man running from that location. They gave very accurate descriptions to police and they searched the surrounding neighborhood, Ehrenberg said.

Not long afterwards, detectives Glenn Pagano and Nicholas Luciano saw the man, Oliver Blanco, loitering in the rear parking lot of a business on Oradell Avenue, the chief said.
Police saw that the man was injured from the broken glass on the window, Ehrenberg said. Witnesses came and positively identified him.

Blanco, 27, of Scotch Plains, was charged with burglary and in possession of a hypodermic needle, police said. He was processed and remanded to the Bergen County Jail on $5,000 bail.
Police are investigating with Blanco is tied to several other burglaries that occurred over the past two weeks.
