Central Unitarian Church in Paramus invites the community to its annual three-day Rummage Sale on Oct. 15, 16, and 17. Shopping hours are Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission is free.
The church sanctuary is filled wall-to-wall with a wide variety of low-cost goods. Items include clothing for all ages and seasons, household items, small appliances, toys, books, games, furniture, lamps, jewelry, linens and bedding, sporting goods, tools, knickknacks, holiday decor, and much more at low prices. The “Boutique and Beyond” section features new or gently used clothing, collectables, art, and antiques.
The Rummage Sale, attracting customers from Bergen County and North Jersey, has been an annual event since the church opened its doors in Paramus in 1956.

Central Unitarian Church, Bergen County’s liberal religious community, is located at 156 Forest Ave., about one-mile north of Route 4. Ample parking is provided, and the building is wheelchair accessible. The church offers an array of music, worship, education, community service, public advocacy, and fellowship programs year-round.
