Savor Smooth Jazz and Fine Wine at The Shops at Riverside

The Shops at Riverside will wind down summer on a high note by hosting a Jazz & Wine Series on select Thursdays in August from 5 to 7 p.m., with performances by two premier musicians.

On Thursday, August 18, singer, dancer and actress Alyson Williams, daughter of famed jazz trumpeter and bandleader Bobby Booker will perform. Rooted in jazz and blues, Williams realized major success with her smash hit single “Just Call My Name” from her debut album “Raw”.

On Thursday, August 25, guests can enjoy a performance by critically acclaimed singer and pianist Tony DeSare. Named a Rising Star Male Vocalist, DeSare has appeared in venues from New York’s Carnegie Hall to Las Vegas. An accomplished award-winning composer, DeSare has three top-ten Billboard Jazz albums and has been featured on the CBS Early Show and The Today Show.

In addition to the live musical performances, registered guests are invited to enjoy featured wines and tastings from two of The Shops at Riverside’s fine-dining establishments. On Thursday, August 18 attendees can enjoy scrumptious samplings from Morton’s The Steakhouse while guests on Thursday, August 25 can savor delicious light fare from Maggiano’s. The performance area will be located in the common area of the Luxury Wing between Omega and Tiffany & Co.
