Social Action Committee of the Central Unitarian Church in Paramus presents "Corrections," on Friday evening, November 21, at 7:30 as part of its Friday Film Series

56-minute documentary, directed by Ashley Hunt, is not rated. Refreshments are served, and donations are welcome. A discussion follows.

Corrections” is a story of justice turned to profit, where the war on crime has found new investors: Venture capital and for-profit prisons. The documentary presents portraits of the leading corporations, interviews with the world’s leading experts, and the stories of ordinary people.

Central Unitarian Church, a member of the Unitarian Universalist Association, is located at 156 Forest Ave., Paramus, about one-mile north of Route 4. Convenient parking is provided, and the building is wheelchair accessible. The church offers an array of music, worship, education, community service, public advocacy, and fellowship programs year-round.
