Target Speaking With Victim Of 2-Ton Ball Incident
The ball did $3,500 worth of damage to a woman's car.

PARAMUS, N.J. — Target is speaking with the woman whose vehicle received $3,500 worth of damage when a safety bollard dislodged at the Paramus store and rolled into the vehicle, but did not give any indication the matter has been resolved.
The errant ball got loose when a pickup truck hit it, causing it to roll across the parking lot. It then smashed into Eileen Grady's Nissan Rogue. Video footage shows the car with a big red dent in its side, according to a report by ABC7 in New York.

Grady said Target's insurance company denied her claim that it is responsible for paying for the damages.
A Target spokesperson said the company is speaking with Grady directly about the incident, but declined to say if a resolution had been reached with her.

A man jumped out of his truck and stopped the ball from rolling. It took three people to roll the ball back to the store entryway, where a Target employee then put a cone near it. A small child was later seen trying to climb the ball.
