The Silver&Fit Program Invites Members to Tour the Bergen County Zoo on July 1

The Silver&Fit® Exercise and Healthy Aging Program is hosting a social event for members at the Bergen County Zoo on Tuesday, July 1. The event is for Silver&Fit members enrolled through Aetna and includes a self-guided tour.

On the day of the event, registration is from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Bergen County Zoo, 216 Forest Ave., Paramus, NJ 07652. The event includes free admission to the zoo and free parking.

The Bergen County Zoo is a “New World” zoo, exhibiting wildlife from North and South America. Visitors will have the opportunity to view rare and unusual species such as Baird’s tapirs, Andean condors and golden lion tamarins, among others.

The Silver&Fit program is available to people who are Medicare-eligible and have purchased Medicare Advantage coverage that includes the Silver&Fit program as an added benefit.

This event is for enrolled Silver&Fit members. Members must RSVP for the event by Thursday, June 26. To RSVP, visit http://www.silverandfit.com/ and enter your username and password, click Social Activities on your home page, and then click this event. Members also may RSVP by calling 1-877-427-4788 (TTY/TDD 1-877-710-2746) Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern Time.
