UNIQLO Opens First Mall Pop-Up Store At Westfield

UNIQLO launched a pop-up store inside the Westfield Garden State Plaza mall Monday called the UNIQLO Pop-Up Cube to promote the grand opening of their first fullsize mall store Sep 28.

The Pop-Up Cube, which is located in the mall's food court, is offering shoppers a chance to preview some of UNIQLO's signature Japanese clothing line and a chance to purchase their iconic Premium Ultra Light Down Jackets.

Melissa DiSalvo, a representative for UNIQLO, said the company chose Paramus for the location of their its first mall store in the U.S because Bergen County is known as the "mecca" of retail malls.

"With UNIQLO’s exceptionally high goals for its US expansion plans, the Garden State Plaza Mall is a great retail environment and one of the best shopping malls in the U.S.," said DiSalvo. "Opening our first mall store at Garden State Plaza Mall will serve as a prototype for our expansion plans for future mall stores."

Shoppers searching for back to school incentives will find promotions on jeans, including UNIQLO's new Ultra Stretch Jeans. And with the opening of their Garden State Plaza Mall store on Sep. 28, UNIQLO will be launching their new kids collection when the main store opens. 

"At UNIQLO we offer high quality clothing for the best affordable price, as well as the ultimate customer service and shopping experience, and more importantly we have something for everyone," DiSalvo added. "Regardless of age, you will find clothing that works for you at UNIQLO."

DiSalvo said the pop up store is a chance to experience and get to know UNIQLO a little better and the UNIQLO Pop Up Cube at The Garden State Plaza Mall will be offering UNIQLO’s infamous Ultra Light Down Jacket.

"It’s a chance for shoppers to try out of products, and hopefully come back for the larger store opening to be able to experience UNIQLO in the fullest," DiSalvo said. 

UNIQLO is offering a special 100 Lucky Cube Contest with the opening of their new New Jersey store. Shoppers can register via email for a chance to win one of the 100 Lucky Cubes at http://www.uniqlo.com/nj/. Grand prize winner will receive a $1,000 shopping spree at the new UNIQLO at the Westfield Garden State Plaza Mall.

The Paramus store will showcase the complete offering of UNIQLO products including men’s and women’s basics, Heattech (heat-generating clothing), Premium Ultra light Down, an endless array of colorful cashmere, as well as the new kids collection.

The UNIQLO Garden State Plaza store once it officially opens Sep 28. The mall is located at One Garden State Plaza in Paramus.
