Vehicle Stolen, Several Ransacked, Paramus Police Warn

BREAKING: The vehicle was stolen from the South Paramus Road area, police said.

PARAMUS, NJ — Police are warning residents to lock their vehicles after one was stolen and several were ransacked overnight.

The vehicle was stolen from the South Paramus Road area. The ransacked vehicles were in the Paramus and Ridgewood area, police said in a Facebook post Thursday afternoon. Police did not say exactly where the vehicles were ransacked.

Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg could not immediately be reached for comment.

Police said residents should lock their vehicles and not leave key fobs or valuables inside them. Police ask residents to immediately report suspicious people and vehicles by calling 911.
