14 Former Parsippany Cops, School Administrators Receiving $100K Yearly Pensions

Retired police lieutenant added to ever-growing list in New Jersey, report says.

Another year, another former Parsippany employee added to the ever-growing list of retirees receiving a six-figure annual pension in New Jersey.

According to Watchdog NJ, which released its annual report on the number of retired public employees who are receiving at least $100,000 per year in pensions during retirement, 14 former Parsippany employees – five school district employees, nine former police officers – are on the list, up from 13 last year.

  • Vincent Aniello, former assistant superintendent. Annual pension: $114,891
  • Kenneth Graham, former principal. Annual pension: $113,696
  • Angelo Guiliano, former principal. Annual pension: $102,200
  • Kathleen Sleezer, former assistant superintendent of curriculum. Annual pension: $103,607
  • Eugene Vasile, former superintendent. Annual pension: $104,451
  • Stanley Bandura, former police lieutenant. Annual pension: $103,202
  • James Carifi, former police captain. Annual pension: $109,426
  • Anthony Dezenzo, former police chief. Annual pension: $131,952
  • Michael Filippello, former police chief. Annual pension: $111,012
  • Edward Jasiecki, former police lieutenant. Annual pension: $106,319.16
  • Charles Kennedy, former police department member. Annual pension: $100,902
  • William Makowitz, former deputy police chief. Annual pension: $102,523
  • Michael Peckerman, former police chief. Annual pension: $120,863
  • Jeffrey Storms, former police captain. Annual pension: $106,990.

Jasiecki is the addition to the list in 2014, which had a total of 1,988 retired government employees as of Dec. 31. That figure has more than doubled in the last four years, when just 971 former workers received six-figure pensions in 2010, the report said.

The richest pension goes to former Jersey City school superintendent Charles Epps and former Essex County College president A.Z. Yamba, both tallying $195,000 annual payouts, watchdog.org reported.
