$1K Donated to Local Food Bank by Parsippany Teachers
Second annual drive coordinated by PTHEA.

For the second consecutive year, Parsippany teachers, secretaries, custodians, and visitors have contributed to the local food pantry during a time of need.
A collection in each of the 14 school buildings in the district yielded a total of $1,050 in cash that will go directly to the food bank, which provides goods to local residents in need.
“It seemed only natural for us to do this,” said PTHEA President Joseph Kyle in a statement. “The PTHEA has been an integral member of this town for years. These are our neighbors, our students, our fellow community members. Teaching is a helping profession, and we’re glad to help.”

“Parsippany is indeed fortunate to have such a caring Teachers’ Association”, said Barbara Ievoli of the Food Pantry in a statement. “Their individual contributions through the PTHEA will make quite a difference in the lives of many of our residents.”
Donations can be made in person or by calling 973-263-7163.
