2 Babies Born At Same Morris County Burger King 25 Hours Apart

Both baby boys are doing fine, police said.

DENVILLE, NJ — Two baby boys were born in the parking lot of a Morris County Burger King just 25 hours apart, Denville police said. Both mothers were on their way to nearby hospitals when, for different reasons, why realized they'd be unable to make it.

The first mother was on her way to Saint Clare's Hospital in Denville when she and her partner got stuck in Route 80 traffic stemming from a fatal crash Friday around 7:30 p.m.

Realizing they wouldn't make it, the parents pulled into the Denville Burger King parking lot and called 911, where Denville police and first aid squad members helped deliver the baby boy, they announced in a delighted Twitter post. Police were back at it the very next night. Around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, a second expectant mother began experiencing severe contractions before she could read Morristown Memorial Hospital. Her driver pulled off into the same Burger King parking lot, and police arrived on scene just as she began to give birth in the backseat of her car, police said.

She also gave birth to a healthy baby boy.
