MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A pumpkin patch train, a car show, outdoor art and the return of the Morristown Festival on the Green — there's plenty to do in Morris County this weekend.

It's back. One of North Jersey's major fall events is making a return. This year's festival will run from 12-5 p.m. Sunday, rain or shine, on and around the Morristown Green. The event will offer a wide variety of entertainment and activities for all ages, including four stages, Kids Place amusements, carnival games and the beer tent. Mendham Food Truck & Music Festival

The fun-filled family day will feature 19 gourmet food trucks, live music from three bands, beer, a margarita and sangria garden, pony rides, a petting zoo, axe throwing and more. Admission costs $5, but kids under 5 get in free. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at Borough Park, Mendham. Find out more here.
Pumpkin Patch Trains
Join in on the Halloween fun at the Whippany Railroad Museum onboard the Pumpkin Patch Train. The 10-mile, 45 minute round trick takes you from Whippany to Roseland and back. Your ticket also entitles you to pick your own pumpkin and a pumpkin decorating kit. Children are encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween costumes and mingle with zombies and ghosts. The train runs at 1, 2, 3 and 4 p.m. Sundays through Oct. 17. Find out more and buy tickets here.
Madison Car Show
The Madison Area Chamber of Commerce and Madison PBA No. 92 will host their 28th annual car show. The Madison Car Show is held in the parking lot of the Madison Volunteer Ambulance Corps headquarters at the corner of Kings Road and Prospect Street. The event site is a short walk from the Bottle Hill Day festivities centered in Madison’s business district. The show features vehicles in several classes, including hot rods, trucks, customs, antiques, classics and street machines. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, with awards at 3 p.m. Find out more here.
Morris Arts Fest
Outdoor fine art, crafts and live music are coming to the Lewis Morris County Park. Morris Arts will present its second Morris Arts Fest from 1:30-5:30 p.m. Saturday (rain date Sunday). The festival will feature a variety of visual artists and crafters, showcasing and selling their works. Media will include pottery, origami, oils, acrylics, watercolors, fiber art, sculpture, photography, cartooning, collage, jewelry, decorative accessories and stoneware. Find out more here.
