$693,752 Jackpot Lottery Ticket Sold In Parsippany

Parsippany's been on a lottery winning streak.

PARSIPPANY, NJ— A lottery ticket worth $693,752 was sold in Parsippany, making another Morris County person very happy.

The Cash 5 ticket was drawn on Dec. 30, ending someone's 2016 on a high note.

It was sold at Krauszer’s Food Store (134 North Beverwyck Road) in the Lake Hiawatha section of town.

“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Krauszer’s Food Store. The retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for selling the winning ticket," Executive Director Carole Hedinger said. "Overnight, they have become one more ‘lucky location’ for the very fortunate lottery winner.”

Parsippany has been a lucky spot for lottery players recently. Two winning Cash 5 tickets were sold at the same Parsippany Quik Check earlier this month. The town also saw smaller winners in this summer's massive Mega Millions draw.

The winning numbers were: 01, 25, 27, 31 and 32 and the XTRA number was: 03.
