90-Minute Delays For NJT Riders After Morning Power Outage
Power is back, but residual impacts continue for third straight day.

New Jersey Transit riders have had a week to remember, and one they’ll want to forget.
For the third straight morning, 60 to 90 minute delays were in order across multiple lines Wednesday, according to njtransit.com
The issues derived from Amtrak power problems, the statement said, with Midtown direct train service being diverted into Hoboken. New Jersey Transit rail tickets and passes are being cross-honored by PATH at Hoboken, Newark Penn, and 33rd Street, along with NJT and private carrier buses and NYWW service.

The power issue occurred at both Hudson River tunnels and a train yard earlier in the morning, which shut down the Northeast Corridor line, nj.com reported.
Though the power was restored shortly before 8 a.m., residual delays remained.
