Burglar Trio Broke Into Parsippany Home: Police
1 was also charged in connection with four other burglaries in the township, authorities said.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — Three people were charged Tuesday after breaking into a Parsippany home, police said. One of the suspects was also involved in four prior burglaries around the township, according to authorities.
A neighbor told police they saw two men in medical masks breaking into a Beechwood Avenue home at 9:54 a.m. Tuesday, officials said. One of them entered through the window, according to police.
Parsippany police say they arrived quickly because of increased residential patrols. Officers detained a man standing next to a 2007 Toyota Camry near Lake Shore Drive and Beechwood Avenue, authorities said.

The officers then found the two men inside the home, police said. They later located numerous items confirmed to have been stolen from the home, according to the Parsippany Police Department.
Further investigation led to additional charges against one of the suspects — Sanitiago Castro, 19, of Queens, New York — in connection with from burglaries that occurred from Oct. 19-21 on Vail Road, Manchester Street, Stafford Terrace and Lucille Drive, police said:

- one count of burglary (second-degree)
- three counts of burglary (third-degree)
- three counts of theft of movable property (third-degree)
- one count of conspiracy to commit theft of movable property (third-degree)
- one count of conspiracy to commit burglary (third-degree)
- three counts of criminal mischief (disorderly persons offense)
Castro and Jhojan Rodriguez-Alvarez, 25, of Queens, were charged with the following in connection with Tuesday's incident:
- one count of burglary (third-degree)
- one count of conspiracy to commit burglary (third-degree)
- one count of theft (third-degree)
- one count of possession of burglary tools (fourth-degree)
John Gonzalez-Gutierrez, 26, of Minotola, was charged with third-degree burglary and third-degree conspiracy to commit burglary. Officials placed all three in the Morris County Jail.
