Challengers File Campaign Complaint Against Parsippany Mayor
The complaint alleges that current-Mayor James Barberio used a township newsletter as a campaign tool.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — The Morris County Democratic Committee has filed a formal complaint against Parsippany Mayor James Barberio, saying he used a township newsletter as a campaign tool, the Daily Record reported.
Filed with the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission, the complaint alleges that Barberio revived a township wide newsletter as a way to campaign for himself. It also accuses Barberio of using the town's Facebook page inappropriately.
Democratic challenger Michael Soriano called on Barberio to reimburse the town for all costs associated with the flyer. Barberio denied any wrongdoings, the paper said.
