Children's Author Visits All Saints Academy

Letty Zalme-Case discusses her book 'The Cardboard King and the Sparkle Queen.'

Children’s author, Letty Zalme-Case, recently visited the Early Childhood Center of  to visit emergent readers of the kindergarten classes.

"The Cardboard King and the Sparkle Queen" is the first children’s book that Zalme-Case has written. She was inspired to write the book after observing massive bundles of cardboard gathered for recycling at her school.

When the writing project was completed, she asked her brother, Ron Zalme, to develop the illustrations for her words to come to life. Together they created this story that was a hit with her young audience at All Saints. The kindergarten students also received signed copies of Zalme-Case’s book.
