Christmas Concert

Keyboard Christmas Concert by Don Ehrmann, Minister of Music at St. Andrew Lutheran Church

St. Andrew Lutheran Church, located at 335 Reynolds Ave. in Parsippany, will hold a Christmas Concert featuring the keyboard talents of its Minister of Music, Don Ehrmann, on Friday, December 18 at 8 pm at the church.

Mr. Ehrmann will perform several keyboard arrangements of Christmas music and hymns by contemporary musicians including Larry Shackley, Lloyd Larsen, Mark Kellner, Emily Lind, Mary McDonald, and Craig Curry. He has also written at least one arrangement of his own for the performance.

Mr. Ehrmann has been a professional church musician for 48 years and joined St. Andrew Lutheran Church in November 2000. He says, “ I’ve been involved with church music since I was old enough to walk and talk. I don’t know how to live without it.“ He is a resident of West Milford, NJ.

“He is such an incredibly gifted musician,” says Rev. Fred Lentz, pastor of St. Andrew Lutheran Church. “We are so blessed to have him as our Minister of Music. I am really pleased that we are able to offer this concert both as an opportunity for people to enjoy Christmas through music, but as a venue to showcase the talents of this amazing musician whose life has been devoted to the music of faith.”

The performance will include an hour of music and an intermission. Tickets are free but you must call to reserve your seat as seating is limited. Refreshments will be served and a free-will offering taken. St. Andrew is located at 335 Reynolds Avenue, Parsippany, NJ 07054. St. Andrew is barrier-free and accessible to all.
