PARSIPPANY, NJ — Officials will close part of Route 202 northbound and ramps to and from I-80 in Parsippany on Thursday night. At that time, workers will replace an overhead sign, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

The closure will last until 5 a.m. Friday, unless workers complete the project earlier, NJDOT said. The precise timing of the work can change because of weather or other factors. Check NJDOT’s traffic information website for construction updates.

The contractor — Sparwick Contracting — will close and detour Route 202 northbound/Littleton Road just past the split with Frontage Road, which includes the ramp onto I-80 westbound. The ramp from Route 202 northbound onto I-80 eastbound will remain open.
