Corporations Are People Corporate Trash Abounds In the Land of the Free

God Bless America, These colors don't run, America the beautiful, Proud to Be American. All meaningless, evidence shows another place.

Living in Parsippany it is obvious; need exist for more cooperation in recycling & proper separation of all wastes. Property owners especially apartments and franchises do not pay attention to proper conscience discipline possibilities. Does single stream recycling costs tax-payers more? (if so then those whom do adhere to proper separations, are punished in an accumulative sense over time, and the manufacturers of the waste products escape entirely, by paying a litter tax also passed on to the consumer. (Advertising is also an added cost).
It is so demoralizing to live in a time when no matter where one goes, pollution; litter and trash abounds in public places, along roads, parks, beaches everywhere. The combination of rights over responsibilities, freedom itself rather than a collective sense of community, we have individual boundaries that turn property against community, and profit motive against common sense. This new age of plastic has brought us apathy, and abstract excuses blaming others for our societies inherit flaws and greed. The real America is buried somewhere under the trash.

How is it in places like, Germany for examples every bit of material is separated into its proper place by citizens, or shall we say human-beings? The talk of patriotism, god and country is a farce, as evidence shows, we casually excuse ourselves with individual excuses and sayings; like I don’t litter; all denying the obvious, we are pigs and corporations that make all the unnecessary materials escape their part in getting the message out, and helping keep America Beautiful by creating jobs, jobs necessary in cleaning our landscapes. We use prison labor instead, which in its own manner only encourages uncaring individuals or families from using our land for a landfill.

In a materialistic society we think little of the material after it is purchased, and consumed we simply dispose it at our convenience. Yes; convenience is the other enemy of society; the individual and his/her ability to place themselves first, above all life, accumulative impacts shared and inherited by all the good and the bad, in our time the mad element has surely advanced and overcome the good. Civilization being the steady advancement of a society has surely ended when plastic products and packaging were let loose on the free market, which serve not “we the people”. Perhaps we should begin by adding Sanitation Workers, garbage men to our list of alleged heroes. We are a people that no longer know what clean is, and as a species have rejected our own reason, the reason that separates us from the rest of the animal world.

American “exceptionalism” if anything is our arrogance toward creation and all life for the perverted pursuit of money for those whom already have more than enough. This reality shows that money itself no longer has any true wealth in itself. It is the drug of choice for the elite capitalistic who see the world as property. Perhaps this is the real reason our “Merry Christmas Spirit” has faded, not the supposed other faiths not Christian assimilating into our society. The First Lesson of Citizenship; Don’t Litter. Our continued apathy toward our planet cannot continue; plastic fills the Oceans and landscapes, who cares when “your” making money?
