Crunch Fitness Celebrates Grand Opening In Parsippany
Opening a gym at the height of the pandemic wasn't an ideal scenario, but Crunch Fitness navigated the challenges.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — Opening a gym at the height of the pandemic wasn't an ideal scenario, but that's what happened with Parsippany's Crunch Fitness. The business opened in December but has navigated those challenges, celebrating its grand opening Saturday.
Crunch Fitness (790 Route 46 in the Arlington Plaza) prides itself on its local connection and local ownership. Like many businesses, the pandemic made them adjust sanitary conditions. But Crunch Fitness has put extra effort into ensuring cleanliness.
“We pride ourselves on being so fresh and so clean,” General Manager Jennifer Bardaro said with a laugh. “We have a 40 hour per week cleaning crew that comes in and completely sanitizes our entire facility, along with rounds from our own staff every 15 minutes cleaning every touchpoint. There’s sanitizer throughout the facility, so everyone can feel confident that the machines are clean before and after each use.”
