Day Pitney Earns “Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality” Designation in the 2017 Corporate Equality Index
The national benchmarking survey on LGBT workplace equality is administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation
Parsippany, NJ., December 7, 2016 – Day Pitney is pleased to announce that the firm has received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2017 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices relating to LGBT workplace equality administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.
With its 100 percent ranking – up from 90 percent last year – Day Pitney has earned the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality by the foundation.
“Day Pitney is continuing its strong efforts to be a leading supporter of the LGBT community, through its LGBT awareness committee within the firm, The Alliance, and its support of legal organizations such as GLAD and the National LGBT Bar Association. The 2017 CEI rated a total of 1,043 businesses in the report, which evaluates LGBT-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBT community.
