DECAcated to the Victorious Foundation
Parsippany Hills DECA raises money for a great non-profit organization, the Alicia Rose Victorious Foundation!

This year, Parsippany Hills DECA has been hosting fundraisers throughout Parsippany to raise money for the Alicia Rose Victorious Foundation.
The Victorious Foundation is a charity that raises awareness and provides support for teenage and young adults in hospitals who are suffering from cancer and other terminal illnesses. This non-profit organization started in New Jersey and has spread out into 38 states and serves over 16,000 children each year. New Jersey DECA partners with a different charity each year, and the proximity as well as the age range of the people the charity helps makes it the perfect organization to raise money for.
This project, which started in October 2018 has been co-chaired by two seniors in the club, Meagan Bostek and Winnie Shin. The first fundraiser was held at Saint Peter the Apostle, a local church, and there the two students in charge of the project hosted a bake sale. The other fundraiser hosted to each the club’s goal of $900 was at the local Jersey Mike’s. The NJ DECA goal of is to raise $40,000 dollar for the non-profit and Parsippany has contributed generously through the Parsippany Hills DECA chapter.
