Donors Sought To Fund Graduation Party For Parsippany Seniors
The committee for Parsippany Hills and Parsippany High schools is seeking donations for a substance-free graduation night.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — Parsippany's Project Graduation committee is asking residents, parents, and local businesses to help fund an all-night celebration for the Class of 2026 at Parsippany Hills High School and Parsippany High School. In a community appeal, the committee said graduation is approaching for both schools, and fundraising is underway for the annual event.
The letter says the committee has organized the overnight program for more than 35 years. It describes Project Graduation as an all-night, substance-free party for graduates from both high schools, with activities and entertainment that include music, hypnotists, games, and food served throughout the night.
According to the committee, the event is planned to provide a safe, alcohol- and drug-free evening for 2026 graduates. The letter says Project Graduation has historically been a graduation gift from the community and that the event has been possible through donations from parents, townspeople, and local businesses.

This year's fundraising goal is $30,000 to $40,000, according to the appeal. The committee estimates the cost at about $150 per student for approximately 450 students and is encouraging donors to sponsor a student at that level, while noting that contributions of any amount are welcome.
“For over 35 years, our committee has planned an all-night, substance-free party for PHHS & PHS graduates,” the committee wrote. “Project Graduation is being planned to ensure a fun, safe, alcohol and drug-free evening for all 2026 graduates.”

Organizers are also offering public recognition for donors. The committee said contributors' names will appear in the “Project Graduation Sponsors” pages in the high school graduation programs and on the “Project Graduation Thank You Page” on Parsippany Focus, as long as donations are received before May 1, because of printing and setup deadlines.
Checks should be made payable to Parsippany Project Graduation and mailed to PO Box 52, Parsippany, NJ 07054. The committee said it hopes community members and businesses will help continue the tradition for the district's graduating seniors.
The fundraising appeal came from the Parsippany Hills High School & Parsippany High School Project Graduation Class of 2026 Committee. No event date or venue is announced at this time.
