Traffic can only get by on the right shoulder, according to officials.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — A dump truck overturned Tuesday morning on I-280 East in Parsippany, closing off almost the entire side. The driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to Morristown Medical Center, according to State Police.
The truck overturned at the left grass median at about 9 a.m., said State Police Sgt. Phil Curry. The cause is unknown.
The incident spread rocks and other debris into the left and right lanes, prompting a closure. Officials kept the left lane closed for about two hours before the eastbound side fully reopened.
