Parsippany 2022 Early Election: Shappell, Raia, Cogan Lead
31K residents voted in the school board race, according to the unofficial tally late Tuesday night.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Late into Tuesday night, Michelle Shappell, Jack S. Raia and Alison C. Cogan led in the Parsippany Board of Education election.
It wasn't immediately clear how many districts had votes left to tally as of 11:30 p.m. But if the results held, Cogan would be the only incumbent candidate to win re-election.

Shappell led with 5,659 votes as of 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, while Raia held 5,248 and Cogan received 5,034. Choffo wasn't far behind, with 5,007 votes.
Results remain unofficial until certified.

Seven candidates filed to run for three available seats, with Yvonne Ferise, Kendra Von Achen and Falgun Bakhtarwala rounded out the race. Choffo, Cogan and Von Achen are incumbent candidates.
