Essex Endoscopy hosts visit by U.S. Congressman Rob Menendez
August is National ASC Month, a time to raise awareness of ASCs

August is National ASC Month, a time to raise awareness of ASCs by educating policymakers and the public about their role as a convenient, personalized alternative to hospital outpatient surgical care. To mark ASC Month, Essex Endoscopy in Newark NJ, recently hosted a visit by U.S. Congressman Rob Menendez where they discussed the nature and scope of ambulatory surgical care, as well as the valuable contributions to and critical role of ASCs within New Jersey’s healthcare delivery system.
As a one-room center focused on GI procedures, they also discussed the issues impacting one-room centers specifically, including the Medicare Beneficiary Co-Pay Fairness Act (H.R. 3006).
