Flooding Closes Parsippany's New Rd. In Both Directions
Parsippany sustained some flooding from Tropical Storm Henri.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — New Road, near Rutgers Village, is closed in both directions because of flooding, Parsippany police said at about 4 p.m. Monday. Plan an alternate route.
Parsippany sustained some flooding during Tropical Storm Henri, including minor inundation around Rockaway River. Officials have reported 5.68 inches of rain in the area from the last 48 hours.
The Pompton River, which runs into Morris County, is under a flash flood warning until 2 p.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
