The Forgotten War The war to keep America Beautiful long lost and forgotten.

The National Park Service is being Depleted by Budget cuts; why? and many visitors have no respect.
Just saw a documentary on the Oil Spills in the Gulf of Mexico; how the US Department of the Interior makes millions by allowing billions to be made by oil Corps stakes and most of the billion goes to the CEO's. In this Government scenario lives under Department of Interior; National Park Service. Where is the reward to the agency of government that allows this prosperity. Then the Department of Treasury must issue more specie/paper dollars because billions is not circulated. The circulation of the millions is based on the dollar still; consumption of pastimes; cheap and polluting; without responsibility. Waste more want more ; who cares about the accumulative effect when your making money?
I we are in a crisis as a people, a nation not we . Liberty without responsibility or common sense as it was known in 1775; has now combined with individual rights above those of the common, because of vested interest and then there is the element of profit motive; convenience against all of us. The Park Service is asked to pick up the tab; or be subservient to private ownership. This is wrong as capitalism is serving the nation. National Parks were thought to be a great idea; what happened; where is America now? As we have replaced the natives we are now replacing ourselves for nothing of value. Unimpaired for future generations must stand as the creed for us all; the Park Service be the vanguard and defend the real America its sacred landscapes..
In other words our humanity under capitalism has lost its soul and respect for anything other than "their" profit motives. There is much work to do in making things better, No new developments are needed, what is required is making America Beautiful Again; its a filthy mess. People feel free to trash our America on a regular basis, but feel it is beyond their individual selfs to compensate for others, or even say anything to anyone. Our cultural norm of excepting corporate convenience waste products in our environments, litter or handling our waste properly is somehow below us. It proves beyond a reasonable doubt that our republic is for the privileged irresponsible classes. That freedom, individual rights, ideas of property or not mine, rather than a common combined with ideas of markets convenience have proven to be all bad combinations to base a Nation and a people upon. The American idea of exceptionalism begun in 1776 has proven to be false, as capitalists culture has nothing to offer but trash, and austerity and a economy that lives only for itself not others and is in fact unsustainable. So much for our culture, economy and heredity.

Not make America Great Again, but beautiful again. Corporations are not people, if they were they would not be allowed to act in such selfish ways.
money is the drug of choice and its ruining the nation by consumption, Natives don't come to the river consumers do. What to do with it all, the trash dump gets higher and our landscapes are in fact now mere defacto landfills.

We have nothing to be proud of, and we fool ourselves with a one nation under god, presumption of false truth. Stop the patriotic nonsense, patriots love their country, land, people and the evidence is either there or not there. There is much work to be done, but because of derogatory mind sets they would need to be accomplished by a common element of true patriotism to restore, and maintain our, remaining landscapes of beauty, history and sustainable life in protecting our water, air and soils. When all life is labeled a commodity we lose our humanity which then subverts to the highest bidder.
