Former Parsippany Mayor Gets Nearly $40K Payout: Report
The payout stems from unused vacation time and hours of carried-over time, according to the report.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — Former Parsippany Mayor James Barberio received a nearly $40,000 payout after leaving office, according to a Parsippany Focus report.
An Accumulated Absences Payout Report obtained by the Parsippany Focus says Barberio earned 175 hours of 2025 vacation credit totaling $12,985.93, and 350 hours of carried-over time totaling $25,971.85.
