Plastics are now being found in our soils and water resources appearing in the anatomy of plants and animals. They; plastics and their production are out of control and obliviously thoughtless to their impacts and harm to the ecology of life. It appears "only the profit motive" is involved here. The waste is unnecessary in that over-engineered products of convenience are destroying our American Landscapes and public places. Both corporate irresponsibility and lack of civic and individual disciplines have turned our landscapes into de facto landfills. Our local street cleaning ordinances and lack of proper sanitation practices enforcements only promote the crisis.

HEREBY: Request that you use your public office to promote and help pass anti-plastic resolutions and laws on the local and State levels. Your positions as Council Members hold more clout that a normal citizen. Your lack of attention only allows the apathy to infect all. In places like Parsippany with its numerous businesses and establishments it becomes even more important to combat plastics. Mico-plastic particles are now in our chain of life and ecology the future is being harmed for senseless convenience beyond any reason. The corporate forces can well afford to be responsible. This free market aspect of unregulated over production of plastics, a petroleum product needs to end; from styrofoam pellets, to the various scope of plastics used for mere consumption of convenience in the Quick and on the Run stores. Finally most plastics are never recycled and their over production has lead to a market saturated with waste. The corporation simply stamps the product with a symbol of recycle many not useful and passes the costs to the citizen and municipality.
Recycling has failed and is not the solution for plastics..
OUR TIMES DEMAND WE DO SOMETHING. Plastic waste is everywhere; how can we continue to ignore the harm we are doing? The norm we have excepted and sanctioned is unacceptable.

Time for Good Government not Laissez Faire
In some cities like Bayonne and Paterson plastics literally cover the streets sidewalks and yards; our Parsippany situation is a little better not much. The total cumulative affects are disgraceful. Time for good government to amend this free market abuse of the profit motive gone berserk. Take a look around plastics are everywhere. There is no America the beautiful under such unregulated and uncaring authority. Most people will not even pick up their own plastics that spill from recycle containers, nor business owners properly police their premises. Enforcements are a joke.
