If you're going away for a while, Parsippany police can conduct periodic exterior checks of your home.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — Going away for a while? Parsippany police can conduct periodic exterior checks of your home.
Enlisting the police through the House Watch program doesn't guarantee against loss, theft, damage or criminal mischief. But it can be a useful deterrent to anyone considering accessing your home for criminal purposes, according to police.
Do note that enrollment doesn't create a special duty upon the police department to monitor your home. Patrol officers will conduct inspections of your home's exterior as time permits.
