Congratulations on speaking up against this "terrible" excuse for a human being for Chief Justice and for setting an example in the "good ole boys" club, by speaking up as a sitting Senator. In my opinion, the electoral college has failed us, by choosing Trump because business & government are not the same. The conflicts of interest and unpreparedness of his administration demonstrates the sinister power of power in politics. The plutocracy is real and the danger of an even more diminished democracy is transparent. We are experiencing a billionaire take-over and for the worse. The public somehow has been duped due to private interest and lack of education, community values in most cases are propaganda. We see a self centered dirty and polluted America; where money is the drug of choice, destroying real values. Mother Nature and Human Human suffers. It appears the American experiment in Republican Democracy has failed.
In my life and now at 67 years, only the remaining landscapes and National Parks have meaning to me as being American. There is so much work to do, but the "we the powerful" have subverted the "we the people". We are not a christian nation nor do we practice values of faith or hope. This stands evident. Capitalism as we practice it is the true culprit.
Jeff Sessions or Jefferson "Beauregard" Sessions, named after his great grandfather, who was named after Jefferson Davis president of the Confederate States of America, itself should set off alarms, as President Barack Obama name caused such undue and unjust controversy created by bi-partisan private interest in government circles and media hype. The confederate legacy of slavery and race structured class society, was after all justified by the accumulation of wealth on slavery; in short economics based on race. It appears Trump is sending the worse of the lot, the takers, not the givers, as almost a defiant spite against US all. Again Business is not government, we need good government now more than ever. What has become of "we the people"? Which Flag do we salute now?
