Hour-By-Hour: How Much Snow, Sleet Will Fall in Parsippany?
Winter weather advisory in effect until Tuesday morning.

Parsippany isn’t out of the messy winter woods yet, with another round of precipitation expected to hit the area Monday afternoon and overnight into Tuesday morning.
According to the National Weather Service, snow will hit the area Monday afternoon with up to an inch of total accumulation compounding the freezing rain and ice mixture that forced all local schools to close.
A winter weather advisory remains in effect until 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Overnight temperatures will bottom out around 21 degrees, and another inch of snow accumulation is expected before daybreak Tuesday.
In addition, the weather service is showing up to a quarter inch of ice accumulation could fall as well.

The forecast brightens Tuesday, with some sunshine and a high near 35 degrees, the weather service said.
